Description: Through the use of actual examples, this interactive presentation will explore family dynamics from the perspective of both the family members and that of the professional caregivers.

Every family has its own, unique dynamics. When someone within a family is diagnosed with a dementia-related illness/condition, the family’s roles and relationships with one another usually begin to shift. This presentation will review some of these changes, challenges, and possibilities when caring for persons with dementia.  

Target audience: Professionals, family and friends of individuals with dementia and caregivers.
